About Q1

Q1 is Stölzle Lausitz's top series and the only mouth-blown one in the range. Each glass is shaped by hand, giving a thinner bowl and a lighter feel in the hand than machine-made glass can reach. You notice the difference the moment you pick the glass up.

The material is lead-free crystal glass, as in the rest of the Stölzle range. The design is straight and pared back, with no decoration competing with the wine.

The glasses in the series

• Burgundy wine glass 650 ml – a wide bowl for pinot noir and nebbiolo
• Bordeaux wine glass 600 ml – a taller bowl for cabernet, merlot and syrah
• Chianti wine glass 400 ml – a mid-size bowl for lighter reds
• White wine glass 350 ml – a narrower bowl that holds the temperature
• Champagne glass 300 ml – for sparkling wine

All are sold in pairs, which makes the series easy to build up glass by glass rather than six at a time.

Care

The glasses are dishwasher safe, but we recommend washing by hand. Mouth-blown glass is thinner than machine-made glass, and hand washing is the safest way to keep the bowl clear over time.
