About Coasters

Cork coasters from Liga in Portugal, in packs of four. Cork does three things here: it lets the condensation from a cold glass run off instead of soaking it up, it stays put on the table, and it muffles the sound when the glass is set down.

That last one is easy to underestimate. The difference between a glass meeting stone and a glass meeting cork is audible, and it is worth something at a long table.

Three versions

  • Smoked Cork, rectangular 10 cm – naturally smoked cork in a darker shade, with no dye or coating
  • Beach Clean, round 9 cm – cork with recycled EVA plastic. Each coaster takes its own colour combination from the recycled material.
  • Dash, round 9 cm – cork with recycled rubber, the hardest-wearing option

If you want the same look across the whole table, placemats are available in Beach Clean, Dash and Smoked Cork too. Natural, however, comes only as a placemat.

Care

Wipe with a damp cloth and let it air dry. Do not soak the cork.
